Limestone Heritage – Waterfall gardens in Malta
On top of our list of destination wedding venues has to be the Limestone Heritage in Malta. If you want to get married in beautifully landscaped gardens, surrounded by lemon trees, and a 15-ft high waterfall coming out of white limestone, then this is the most unique wedding venue for you. Peaceful and exclusively hired, with a capacity of up to 250 wedding guests, and a backup marquee just in case it rains.
Ceremony
A Civil Ceremony provides the couple with a Marriage Certificate that legally binds the bride and groom. For foreign couples, it requires that you be in Malta or Gozo for a minimum of two full working days prior to the wedding ceremony amongst the other legal documents which need to be submitted to the registry not more than three months before and not less than six weeks before the wedding date.
From the 14th of April 2014, the Government of Malta approved the legislation for Civil Unions, meaning that now same-sex marriages can be legally held in Malta.
