Boho luxe wedding inspiration with day & night bridal dress, a custom embroidered veil, and epic sequin cape
Being creative and working on inspirational wedding shoots is a fun part of our work as UK-based wedding planners and events stylists. This boho wedding inspiration photoshoot has taken place at Primrose Hill Farm wedding venue in Oxfordshire. It was a great pleasure to work with such a talented team of wedding suppliers during 2020.
Texture and minimal colours were the key to this Boho wedding inspiration photoshoot. Working with dried flowers and grasses, ruffled fabrics, and echoing the detail on the dresses in the tablescape and ceremony styling.
We began the boho wedding look knowing that we wanted to use copious amounts of fabric on the table draping down onto the floor, this set the scene for the ceremony too incorporating dried grasses and flowers to add more texture and soft candlelight. The natural feel and light of the venue were reiterated with the hints of wood and wicker used throughout.
On the table, we wanted to show that using only a limited palette you can create a bohemian feeling but the hint of pink and gold capturing the luxury element.
Feathers played a part in the initial mood board and these wispy textures were found in the detailed cake design and the fun hints from the stationery and retro swan centerpieces.
The bouquet was created to feel ‘just picked’ from the meadow but included the sculptural elements seen in the centerpieces and white flowers to stand out against the dried selection.
We wanted to create a modern take on Boho lux and inspire a modern couple. And the super talented team of wedding suppliers has certainly achieved that.
